Ariana Grande: The Perfect Role Model?

Sorry folks. Ariana Grande’s ‘Oneness’ concert that took place in Manchester yesterday has yet to move me. And now I see the Telegraph has published an article on how a reporter who, after watching the concert, had decided that Ariana wasn’t a bad role model for her daughter after all… Oh, really?
So because Grande decided ditch her normally skimpy costumes for one event, she’s now a good role model? Does that magically nullify all the innuendo laced songs directed at young girls (including such empowering lyrics such as ‘It’s Hard To Breathe When You’re Kissing Me There’ and talk of ‘Dick Bicycles’), nor remember the hating of America, licking of doughnuts, and gratuitous music videos with people having sex on car hoods?
Maybe a little less cupcake fluff and a little more condemnation of violence would be in order for me to be impressed. But as for the glowing article by that wonderful mother, the reporter, I guess that a paycheck from a magazine is enough to change anyone’s mind, folks. I just wonder if she’ll find it empowering when her daughter is old enough to do more than just ‘sing’ about ‘dick bicycles’…
Gotta love society today. Gotta love it…

“…His eyes shone down at me as I breathed unsteadily, trying to drag air in to my rapidly shrinking lungs. I battled with my desire to run and the desire to surrender to him entirely. I could feel my heart wildly thumping in my chest and I could have sworn it skipped a beat or two. I hoped he couldn’t feel all this through the bulletproof polymer.
“You can say ‘no’,” he whispered, sounding as though he wished I wouldn’t.
I opened my mouth to protest but the words died in my throat. Maybe they came out as a whimper; I don’t know. I wasn’t paying much attention to my reaction now as much as I was his rapidly descending lips. My eyes drifted closed and I could feel his breath on my face.
It was a shock to me that I wanted his contact so badly. He was right. I did like him. I did like the way his arm was holding my body and his hand gently twisted up into my hair. I so badly wanted to know what it felt like to be loved. My lips trembled with anticipation and want. But the contact I suddenly longed for never came…”

Where once there came a gilded city
that built into the sky,
until the day the rain never came
and the once plentiful well ran dry.
Citizens cried upon her ruin
never a care for her lost,
their freedom gone and voices quiet
too late now to ponder the cost.
Will a hero arise to save them all
or will the government decry,
we love control, won’t let it go,
for freedom was always nothing but lies…

Kim Kardashian Joins NASA To Become The First Reality TV Star Astronaut

Announced early Saturday via the Daily Squat, Kim Kardashian’s representative announced that in early May the reality TV megastar would become the first of her kind, a new breed of space travel: the ASS-Tronaut.

The new program to launch her  into space would be one of the first funded by President Trump’s NASA bill. Amazingly despite the general controversy over his policies, this policy seems to have been greeted with support from both sides of the Republican and Democratic aisle. The mission, code named ProjecKim Kardashiant Double Michelin, will be to test the gravitational pull on large and gelatinous life forms for which the scientists felt Mrs. Kardashian West’s derriere would be perfect.

At the current moment, there is no immediate plan for bringing her back down out of orbit.

To ensure her safety, Mrs. Kardashian West has insured her rear end for an additional twenty million dollars and the taping rights to the new reality TV show are currently being sought after by a number of entertainment companies.

The only opponent to this new plan is her husband, Kanye West. He feels he is and always has been America’s perfect ASS-Tronaut and would be more perfect for the project. Despite most of American’s agreeing with this sentiment, there are still no immediate plans for him to participate in the experiment.

As of this time, it is still unclear whether Whoopi Goldberg, Raven Simone and other celebrities plan to join the program to escape Trump’s presidency as well.

Now wouldn’t we all have loved for this to have been true? Love her or hate her, Kim was the butt of this April fools joke! But what is true is that my new novel, WAR MACHINE, is set to drop on May 18th! Make sure to  check it out here.
